Abstract

In September 2022, six cities in Central Java combined experienced inflation of 1.19 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 112.78. Of the six CPI cities in Central Java, all cities experienced inflation.

The main cause of inflation in September 2022 was the increase in prices of gasoline, rice, diesel, intercity transportation, and housing contracts. The main restraints of inflation are falling prices of air freight, shallots, purebred chicken meat, gold jewelry, and cinema.
