Integrated Survey Distribution Officer Training 2019

officers on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. The training was held in the Hall of the BPS Office of Boyolali Regency, followed by 15 officers. Integrated Surveys of Distribution Statistics in 2019 that were trained included the Inter-Regional Trade Survey (PAW), Annual Accommodation Services Survey (VHTL), Export Data Quality Improvement Survey (KUDEKS) and Quarterly Business Activity Survey (STKU).

 

The Inter-Regional Trade Survey (PAW) is an annual routine survey aimed at obtaining Inter-Regional Trade Volume and Value, and obtaining Inter-Regional Trade Maps. The PAW Survey is conducted from April to mid May 2019, with respondents being 13 Large Medium Enterprises whose main activities are Excavation and Mining (category B), Industry (category C) and Trade (category G).

 

Meanwhile, the Annual Accommodation Services Survey (VHTL) aims to:

1.       Obtain specific characteristics (profiles) of business activities / accommodation companies;

2.       Obtain an overview of the characteristics of the business activity / accommodation company;

3.       Obtain an overview of the structure of income and costs / expenditures and the addition and reduction of capital goods;

4.       Obtain data on raw materials used by the accommodation business;

5.       Obtain data / information on the number of accommodation business guests and their relation to capital and environmental ownership.

The VHTL survey is conducted from April to May 2019, with respondents being 20 star and non-star hotels.

 

The Export Data Quality Improvement Survey (KUDEKS) is also one of the annual routine surveys which aims to improve the quality of PEB document contents, especially in terms of conformity of HS codes and item descriptions; and improve the understanding of exporters to fill in PEB documents correctly so that the resulting statistics are of high quality. The KUDEKS survey was also held from April to May 2019, with respondents being PT. Tupai Adyamas Indonesia, PT. Prima Sejati Sejahtera and PT. Eco Smart Garment Indonesia.

 

Meanwhile, the Quarterly Business Activities Survey (STKU) aims to:

1.       Providing data about the company's production / income / output value index / current business in the trade sector, transportation and warehousing sector, information sector, and financial sector on a quarterly basis.

2.       Provide an overview of the development of the company / business both quantitatively and qualitatively to support the preparation of Quarterly GDP / GRDP.

The STKU survey is conducted every 3 months, with respondents of companies engaged in trade (category C), warehousing and transportation (category H) and finance (category K).
