MSBP 2021 National Socio-Economic Survey Officer Training

BPS Boyolali Regency participated in the 2021 Susenas MSBP officer training organized by BPS Central Java Province with E-learning and delivered through a zoom meeting. This training was preceded by independent learning for 3 days, namely 3 - 5 September 2021, then continued interactively for 4 days, 7 - 10 September 2021.

This training event was opened by the Acting Head of BPS Central Java Province, Mr. Sentot Bangun Widoyono.

The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is the main basis for meeting the government's needs in implementing national development so that it is in line with international development goals (Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Susenas is collected by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) to provide portrait of development progress. The portrait must be accurate and can be trusted by the public at large. The March 2021 Susenas is one of the routine surveys of BPS which provides development data in the socio-economic sector at the national, provincial, and district/city levels.

 

AIM

This training aims to provide Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) that enumerators must comply with in carrying out the 2021 Susenas MSBP household enumeration and provide solutions to various problems commonly experienced in the field based on previous Susenas experiences.

 

SCOPE

The MSBP 2021 Susenas data collection includes 75,000 households in the regular census block, excluding those living in special census blocks, such as military complexes and the like as well as special households located in the regular census blocks. The sample households were enumerated using the Susenas Questionnaire for the Social Culture and Education Module (VSEN21.MSBP) and the Consumption/Expenditure Questionnaire (VSEN21.KP).
