Abstract

  • The increase in Central Java's HDI in 2021 is supported by an increase in all its constituent components. In 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic caused a slowdown in HDI growth caused by a decline in adjusted per capita spending. In 2021, per capita spending has crawled up 0.95 percent compared to 2020
  • In terms of education, children in Central Java who are 7 years old in 2021, have the hope of enjoying education for 12.77 years, this figure is an increase of 0.07 years compared to 2020 which reached 12.70 years. In addition, the average length of schooling for residents aged 25 years and over increased by 0.06 years, to 7.75 years in 2021.
  • In terms of health, babies in Central Java born in 2021 have a life expectancy of up to 74.47 years, 0.10 years longer than those born in the previous year.
