Abstract
Human development
in Boyolali Regency in 2020 has increased compared to the previous year. This
can be seen from the achievements of the Human Development Index (HDI) in
Boyolali Regency in 2020 which reached 74.25, an increase of 0.45 points
compared to 2019.
• Since 2014, the
status of human development in Boyolali Regency has begun to fall into the
“high” category (HDI above 70), while between 2011-2013 it is still in the
“medium” category (60 ≤ HDI ≤ 70).
• When compared
between 2020 and 2019, the HDI component in Boyolali has increased. Newborns in
Boyolali District have a chance to live up to 75.95 years, an increase of 0.12
years compared to newborn babies in 2019. Children aged 7 years have the chance
to go to school for 12.56 years, or an increase of 0, 13 years old. On average,
the population aged 25 years and over has studied for 7.84 years (SMP class 1)
and an increase compared to the previous year of 0.28 years. Meanwhile, per
capita public expenditure adjusted to PPP (Purchasing Power Parity) decreased
by Rp. 169 thousand when compared to Rp. 13,079 thousand in 2019 to Rp. 12,910
thousand.
