BPS Boyolali Regency carried out the 2024 Construction Survey Briefing which was carried out by Central BPS via zoom for 2 days, the first day of implementation was Monday, 19 February 2024 specifically for Citation and Updating Construction Company Directory activities; In general, the objectives of the Citing and Updating Construction Company Directory activities are as follows:
1. Update the construction company directory to find out the latest condition of companies that are active, temporarily closed, closed, not found, not in construction, moving, and inserting new companies.
2. Obtain information regarding the company name, company status, company qualifications, legal entity/business entity, year when commercial operations began, and main field of work.
3. Obtain information about active construction companies which will be used as a basis for sampling construction company surveys in the following year.
The scope of the Construction Company Directory Citation and Updating activities is as follows:
1. Citation-Matching-Insert Construction Company Directory
A series of citing activities were carried out covering all districts/cities in 38 provinces in Indonesia. The series of citing activities was carried out by visiting 5 (five) OPDs (Regional Apparatus Organizations)/Related Agencies/Associations both in the province and in the district/city. A series of citing activities were also carried out at the BPS RI level sourced from the relevant ministries/institutions.
2. Updating Construction Company Directory (UDP-2024)
UDP-2024 activities are carried out covering all districts/cities in 38 provinces in Indonesia. The number of UDP-2024 respondents in Boyolali Regency was 50 companies, where the target number of samples per district/city was around 50 companies selected using conditional purposive sampling.
UDP-2024 sample companies are companies selected as UDP-2024 samples taken from:
a. INSERT company sourced from LKPP from quoting activities by BPS RI.
b. Companies in the construction company directory with temporary closed status.
c. Companies in the construction company directory that are also listed as tender winners in the LKPP have never been field checked.
On the second day, Tuesday, 20 February 2024, a special briefing was also held via a zoom meeting for the 2023 Annual Construction Company Survey (SKTH) and 2024 Quarterly Construction Company Survey (SKTR). In general, the aim of the 2023 Annual Construction Company Survey (SKTH) is to obtain data on construction companies that contains the structure and characteristics of the construction sector in Indonesia through data on the number of construction companies, number of workers and remuneration, electricity usage, fuel usage, income and expenditure on construction work, materials/materials used, formation of capital goods, etc. another in the 2023 period.
Meanwhile, the 2024 Quarterly Construction Company Survey (SKTR-2024) aims to determine developments in the construction sector in general with quarterly time references. The characteristics studied include the number and remuneration of permanent, contract, outsourced and foreign workers; number and wages of non-permanent/daily workers; value of construction work completed, business conditions and prospects, as well as construction business problems in the quarterly period.
The Annual Construction Company Survey is carried out in all provinces in Indonesia with a sample size of 11 companies for Boyolali Regency. The sample is a national construction company with business entities operating in Indonesia and having the qualifications of Small, Medium and Large. For the Quarterly Construction Company Survey, this is a subsample of the Annual Construction Company Survey sample, and the companies selected in the first quarter will continue to be observed in the second quarter, third quarter and fourth quarter (panel/repeated sample), for Boyolali Regency there are 3 samples.
