Abstract

June 2019 in Jawa Tengah there was deflation of 0.60 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 134.36. Inflation in Jawa Tengah occurred in all (six) cities of SBH.

The inflation rate for the June 2019 calendar year is 1.64 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (June 2019 against June 2018) is 2.52 percent.
The main cause of Jawa Tengah inflation in June 2019 was the increase in prices of red chili, intercity transportation, shallots, coconuts and petai. The restraint of the inflation rate was the decline in the price of garlic, chicken eggs, rice, young jackfruit and tilapia.
