Abstract
• March 2019 in Jawa
Tengah there was deflation of 0.30 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI)
of 133.32. Inflation in Jawa Tengah occurred in all (six) cities of SBH.
• The calendar year inflation rate (March 2019
to December 2018) is 0.26 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate is 1.82
percent too.
• The main cause of inflation in Jawa Tengah in
March 2019 is the increase in prices of shallots, garlic, air freight, young
jackfruit and cars. Retaining the inflation rate is the decline in the price of
rice, gasoline, chicken, oranges and cayenne pepper
