Abstract

In May 2019, Boyolali Regency experienced inflation of 0.21 percent and the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 131.17
Inflation is caused by price increases as indicated by an increase in the index in the processed food, beverages and tobacco group by 0.65 percent, the transport, communication and financial services group by 0.28 percent, the clothing group by 0.23 percent, housing groups, water, electricity, gas by 0.07 percent, foodstuffs by 0.04 percent, health groups by 0.03 percent, education, recreation and sports by 0.01 percent.
The calendar year inflation rate for Boyolali district is 1.21 percent and the year on year inflation rate is 2.19 percent.
In this month there was inflation in almost all SBH cities in Central Java, namely Purwokerto City by 0.48 percent, Semarang city by 0.36 percent, Tegal city by 0.30 percent, Surakarta city at 0.28 percent, Kudus city at 0 , 22 percent and the city of Cilacap by 0.19 percent.
In general, in Central Java this inflation in May 2019 occurred at 0.33 percent while National inflation was 0.68 percent.
