Abstract

In March 2019 Boyolali Regency experienced deflation of 0.26 percent and the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 130.27
Inflation was caused by price increases as indicated by an increase in the index in the foodstuffs group by 1.06 percent, the processed food, beverages and tobacco group by 0.26 percent, the clothing group by 0.05 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas groups by 0.03 percent, and the health group by 0.01 percent. Deflation was caused by a decrease in the index in the transport, communication and financial services group by 0.13 percent. While the education, recreation and sports group did not experience an increase or decrease in the index or stable by 0.00 percent.
The calendar year inflation rate for Boyolali district is 0.51 percent and the year on year inflation rate is 1.49 percent.
This month there was deflation in almost all SBH cities in Central Java, namely Semarang City by 0.34 percent, Cilacap city by 0.32 percent, Surakarta city by 0.29 percent, Kudus city by 0.23 percent, Tegal city by 0 , 20 percent and the city of Purwokerto by 0.19 percent.
In general, in Central Java there was inflation in March 2019 at 0.30 percent while National inflation was 0.11 percent.
