Surakarta City Has Inflation of 0.57% in December 2018

Abstract

In December 2048 Surakarta City experienced inflation of 0.57 percent with the Consumer Price Index of 129.30 higher compared to November 2018 which experienced inflation of 0.22 percent. This inflation is due to an increase in prices indicated by the increase in the consumer price index number. Expenditure groups that experienced an increase in the price index, namely the foodstuffs group rose 0.95 percent, the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group rose 0.38 percent, the clothing group rose 0.03 percent, the health group rose 0.18 percent, the group education, recreation and sports rose 0.03 percent, and the transportation, communication and financial services group rose 1.87 percent. In contrast, the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group fell 0.02 percent.
