Abstract

• June 2018 in Jawa Tengah there was inflation of 0.70 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 131.85. Inflation in Jawa Tengah occurred in all (six) cities of SBH
• The inflation rate for calendar year (June 2018 to December 2017) is 1.94 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (June 2018 to June 2017) is 2.72 percent.
• The main cause of inflation in Jawa Tengah in June 2018 is the rise in intercity freight rates, chicken meat, air transport, long beans and wet shrimp. Meanwhile, the inflation rate is decreasing the price of eggs, rice, red chili, brick / stone and young jackfruit.
