Central Java's cumulative exports in 2017 rose 11.21 percent

Abstract

The export value of Central Java in December 2017 reached US$ 519.93 million or decreased by 1.26 percent compared to exports in November 2017 (US$ 526.56 million). Meanwhile, compared to December 2016 (year on year), Central Java's exports fell by US$ 3.65 million (0.70 percent). Cumulative exports from January to December 2017 reached US$ 5,993.05 million, up 11.21 percent from cumulative exports from January to December 2016 (US$ 5,389.14 million).

The import value of Central Java in December 2017 reached US$ 1,245.78 million, an increase of 24.83 percent compared to imports in November 2017 (US$ 997.99 million). When compared to December 2016 (year on year), the import value in December 2017 increased by 44.74 percent (US$ 385.05 million). Cumulative imports from January to December 2017 reached US$ 10,658.68 million, up 20.97 percent from cumulative exports from January to December 2016 (US$ 8,811.05 million).
