Reconciliation of Regency/City GRDP throughout Central Java Province

July 10, 2024 | BPS Activities

Hi #SobatData, do you know about Economic Growth?
Yes, Economic Growth is a strategic indicator that aims to measure the economic performance of a region. In carrying out its duties, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) carries out various kinds of data collection activities as a basis for preparing economic indicators, one of which is Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data.
GRDP is the amount of value added to goods and services produced by various production units in a region within a certain period of time (usually one year). In this presentation, the production units are grouped into 17 business field categories. Meanwhile, according to consumption expenditure, it is classified according to the final demand component which consists of household consumption expenditure and private non-profit institutions; government consumption expenditure; gross domestic fixed capital formation; changes in inventory, and net exports (net exports are exports minus imports).
Boyolali Regency BPS together with other Regency/City BPS throughout Central Java Province, on Thursday-Friday, 04-05 July 2024, held an online Regency/City Quarterly GRDP Reconciliation activity. On this reconciliation occasion, worksheet adjustments were made to the calculation of GRDP by Expenditure. The Reconciliation Activity was opened by the Intermediate Expert Statistician who is also the Head of the Central Java Province BPS Economics and Analysis (Existing) Team, Didik Nursetyohadi, M.Agb. In his speech, Didik said that districts/cities were asked to pay more attention to the suitability of the quarterly pattern which is characteristic of each district/city. The final results of this reconciliation will later be released on our website in the form of publications, official statistical news and static and dynamic tables. So, don't forget to keep monitoring our website, #SobatData 😊.
