On March 31, 2023 BPS Boyolali Regency coordinated with the Musuk and Tamansari sub-districts regarding the Regsosek Public Consultation Forum (FKP).
Field data collection and processing has been completed. To strengthen these results, discussions involving the community will be held through the Public Consultation Forum (FKP). This forum opens space for participation from the public as well as control over the compilation of government social protection data. The FKP process will be complex because it involves the community and personnel from outside BPS. For this reason, this book was compiled as a reference in field implementation.
In a democratic country, community involvement in policy formulation is a necessity. There must be space for the community to become the subject of development through participation in the policy-making process.
Community involvement has various benefits such as being a form of transparency, socializing government work, and minimizing the potential for mistakes in formulating a policy. Communities with knowledge of environmental conditions can provide added value to the draft policies that have been made by the government.
Community involvement was represented by FKP participants consisting of the head of the local environmental unit (SLS) or a representative who understood the local community's condition as well as five representatives from community leaders, religious leaders, heads/administrators of village institutions. Apart from that, the Bintara Pembina Desa (Babinsa) and Bhayangkara Supervisor for Community Security and Order (Bhabinkamtibmas) were also invited to help provide security.
FKP activities are guided by a facilitator assisted by two assistant facilitators and administrators who are carried out from village to village in their assigned area. During the FKP implementation, FKP participants were asked to examine the welfare group (very poor, poor, vulnerable to poor, and not poor) results of the 2022 Research and Research Preliminary Data Collection. In the next stage, recommendations for changes to the welfare group will be discussed in the forum so that the results of the FKP Research and Research data are obtained in accordance with the mutual agreement .
