Training for Data Collection Officers for the Annual Micro Small Industry Survey (VIMK) 2021

BPS Boyolali Regency conducted training for data collection officers for the 2021 Annual Micro Small Industry Survey (VIMK) with E-learning and delivered through zoom meetings. This training is carried out for 1 (one) effective day, namely on August 12, 2021. The number of officers consists of 15 PCL (Statistical Partners) and 4 PML (Organic).

The training event was opened by the Head of BPS Boyolali Regency, Mr. Sugita with the instructor Ana Afiqatul Azqiyah (Coordinator of the Production Statistics Function). Health protocols are still applied in this training.

In general, the 2021 IMK Annual Survey (Annual VIMK21) aims to determine the profile of the Micro and Small Industry (IMK) potential areas in Indonesia that can be used as material for planning macroeconomic activities. The Annual VIMK21 will collect and present detailed and up-to-date data on micro and small scale business activities/companies according to the first 2 digits of the Indonesian Standard Classification of Business Fields (hereinafter abbreviated as 2-digit KBLI) at the national and provincial levels.

The data that will be collected in the 2021 Annual VIMK includes company characteristics such as main activities, year of operation, form of legal entity. The questionnaire will also ask about the number of workers, work hours, working hours and worker remuneration. How the product is distributed and the origin of the raw materials will also be asked in this survey. Regarding the pandemic conditions, information about the impact of the pandemic on businesses is also important to know in this survey.

The 2021 Annual VIMK survey will be carried out starting on August 16, 2021. The survey was conducted on a sample spread over several sub-districts in the Boyolali Regency area. It is expected that entrepreneurs as respondents can provide complete and real information so that data can be obtained that can describe the current condition of micro and small businesses.
