Training on Rural Price Survey of Boyolali Regency Statistics Agency

Wednesday, November 27, 2019, the Boyolali District Statistics Agency held a training session on Rural Consumer Price Survey (HKD) and Rural Producer Price Survey (HPD). The training was attended by all District Statistics Coordinators (KSK), Staff of Distribution Statistics Section and Statistics Partners who were HKD and HPD Survey officers. The purpose of this training is to deepen the understanding of the concept definitions and methodology of the HKD and HPD Survey. In addition, it is also expected to improve the quality of data generated by field officers, given that the survey data is indeed important for the calculation of the Farmers Exchange Rate Index (NTP).


The training began at 08.00 WIB and was opened by the Head of BPS of Boyolali Regency, Drs. Sugita, MM. HKD and HPD Survey material was delivered by subject matter namely the Head of Distribution Statistics Section, Fendy Ardyanto, S.ST, M.Sc. The training lasts full day for eight hours.


The Rural Price Survey is conducted monthly by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Price data collection is not limited to producer prices of various agricultural commodities, but also retail prices of goods and services that are part of the costs of agricultural production processes (HD) as well as data on consumer prices in rural areas (HKD), namely the prices of various goods and services consumed villagers.


In this training also presented monitoring and evaluation of data that had been collected during 2018 and 2019. It is hoped that in the future, HKD Survey and HPD Survey data collected will be better and more accurate for better quality data.
