Abstract

The workforce in August 2022 was 19.47 million people, an increase of 0.51 million people compared to the workforce in August 2021. With the Labor Force Participation Rate recorded at 70.84 percent in August 2022.

The percentage of underemployed workers fell by 1.84 percentage points. Likewise, the percentage of part-time workers also fell by 1.30 percentage points compared to August 2021.
