Abstract

In June 2021, Central Java experienced deflation of -0.17 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.05. Of the six CPI cities in Central Java, all cities experienced deflation. The highest deflation occurred in the city of Tegal -0.36 percent with a CPI of 106.28 followed by the city of Cilacap -0.25 percent with a CPI of 104.74; the city of Surakarta -0.22 percent with a CPI of 105.61; the city of Purwokerto -0.20 percent with a CPI of 105.48; the city of Semarang -0.14 percent with a CPI of 106.40 and the lowest deflation occurred in the city of Kudus -0.09 percent with a CPI of 105.29.
