Abstract

  • February 2019, Deflation in Boyolali Regency was 0.07 percent and the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 129.93
  • Deflation was caused by price increases as indicated by a decline in the index of the foodstuffs group by 0.60 percent and the transport, communication and financial services group by 0.32 percent. While inflation was due to an increase in the index in the processed food, beverages and tobacco group by 0.43 percent, the health group by 0.11 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas by 0.04 percent, clothing group by 0.01 percent, and the education, recreation and sports group by 0.01 percent.
  • The inflation rate of the calendar year for Boyolali district is 0.25 percent and the inflation rate for "year on year" is 1.37 percent.
  • This month there was deflation in almost all SBH cities in Central Java, namely Tegal City by 0.44 percent, Semarang city by 0.37 percent, Purwokerto city by 0.26 percent, Cilacap city by 0.25 percent, Kudus city by 0 , 21 percent and Surakarta City by 0.11 percent.
  • In general, Deflation in Central Java was 0.30 percent while National deflation was 0.08 percent.
