August 2018: Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) Reached 4.51 Percent

• The number of workforce in Jawa Tengah in August 2018 was 18.06 million people, in line with that the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) was 68.56 percent.

• The August 2018 Jawa Tengah Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) of 4.51 percent. Judging from the level of education, the TPT for Vocational High Schools (SMK) is the highest among other education levels, which is 10.85 percent.

• There are 17.25 million people working, if seen from the main jobs, business sectors that experience a decline in employment occur in Agriculture (2.77 percentage points); Government Administration, Defense and Compulsory Social Security (0.03 percentage points); Educational Services (0.03 percentage points); Other Services (0.02 percentage points); Mining and Excavation (0.01 point percent) and Others (0.01 point percent).
