Abstract

The value of Central Java's exports in August 2017 reached US$ 562.99 million or increased by 12.77 percent compared to exports in July 2017 (US$ 499.23 million). Likewise, when compared to August 2016 (year on year), Central Java's exports increased by US$ 113.81 million (25.34 percent). Cumulative exports from January to August 2017 reached US$ 3,918.84 million, up 10.96 percent from cumulative exports from January to August 2016 (US$ 3,531.77 million).

The value of Central Java's imports in August 2017 reached US$ 962.05 million, increasing by 11.94 percent compared to imports in July 2017 (US$ 859.41 million). When compared to August 2016 (year on year) the import value in August 2017 increased by 26.27 percent (US$ 200.15 million). Cumulative imports in January-August 2017 reached US$ 6,642.11 million, up 15.55 percent from cumulative exports in January-August 2016 (US$ 5,748.27 million)
