Abstract

The value of Central Java's exports in March 2017 reached US$ 523.71 million or increased by 17.04 percent compared to exports in February 2017 (US$ 447.47 million). Meanwhile, when compared to March 2016 (year on year), Central Java's exports increased by US$ 45.31 million (9.47 percent). Cumulative exports from January to March 2017 reached US$ 1,446.33 million, up 8.32 percent from cumulative exports from January to March 2016 (US$ 1,335.28 million).

The value of Central Java's imports in March 2017 reached US$ 888.04 million, decreasing by 7.18 percent compared to imports in February 2017 (US$ 956.70 million). When compared to March 2016 (year on year), the value of imports in March 2017 increased by 30.42 percent (US$ 207.11 million). Cumulative imports from January to March 2017 reached US$ 2,529.86 million, up 31.22 percent from cumulative exports from January to March 2016 (US$ 1,928.01 million).
