Abstract

The export value of Central Java in September 2016 was US$ 430.98 million or decreased by 4.05 percent compared to exports in August 2016 (US$ 449.18 million). Meanwhile, when compared to September 2015 (year on year), Central Java's exports decreased by US$ 5.45 million (1.25 percent). Cumulative exports from January to September 2016 reached US$ 3,962.75 million, down 2.58 percent from cumulative exports from January to September 2015 (US$ 4,067.61 million).

The import value of Central Java in September 2016 reached US$ 710.79 million, down 6.71 percent compared to imports in August 2016 (US$ 761.90 million). When compared to September 2015 (year on year), the import value in September 2016 decreased by 11.94 percent (US$ 807.20 million). Cumulative imports from January to September 2016 reached US$ 6,459.05 million, down 23.43 percent from cumulative imports from January to September 2015 (US$ 8,436.01 million).
