Abstract

The export value of Central Java in May 2016 reached US$ 472.62 million or increased by 4.20 percent compared to exports in April 2016 (US$ 453.56 million). Meanwhile, when compared to May 2015 (year on year), Central Java's exports increased by US$ 11.60 million (2.52 percent). Cumulative exports from January to May 2016 reached US$ 2,261.45 million, down 1.45 percent from cumulative exports from January to May 2015 (US$ 2,294.76 million).

The import value of Central Java in May 2016 reached US$ 838.98 million, an increase of 24.77 percent compared to imports in April 2016 (US$ 672.42 million). When compared to May 2015 (year on year), the import value in May 2016 decreased by 4.20 percent (US$ 36.76 million). Cumulative imports from January to May 2016 reached US$ 3,439.41 million, down 27.37 percent from cumulative exports from January to May 2015 (US$ 4,735.76 million).
