Abstract

The export value of Central Java in April 2016 reached US$ 453.56 million or decreased by 5.19 percent compared to exports in March 2016 (US$ 478.39 million). Meanwhile, when compared to April 2015 (year on year), Central Java's exports decreased by US$ 37.21 million (-7.58 percent). Cumulative exports from January to April 2016 reached US$ 1,788.83 million, down 2.45 percent from cumulative exports from January to April 2015 (US$ 1,833.75 million). The import value of Central Java in April 2016 reached US$ 666.53 million, down 2.11 percent compared to imports in March 2016 (US$ 680.93 million). When compared to April 2015 (year on year), the import value in April 2016 decreased by 33.06 percent (US$ 329.24 million). Cumulative imports from January to April 2016 reached US$ 2,594.54 million, down 32.78 percent from cumulative exports from January to April 2015 (US$ 3,860.02 million).
