Abstract

The export value of Central Java in March 2016 reached US$ 478.36 million or increased by 9.58 percent compared to exports in February 2016 (US$ 436.56 million). Meanwhile, when compared to March 2015 (year on year), Central Java's exports decreased by US$ 9.25 million (-1.90 percent). Cumulative exports from January to March 2016 reached US$ 1,335.25 million, down 0.58 percent from cumulative exports from January to March 2015 (US$ 1,342.98 million). The import value of Central Java in March 2016 reached US$ 679.20 million, increasing by 21.55 percent compared to imports in February 2016 (US$ 558.80 million). When compared to March 2015 (year on year), the import value in March 2016 decreased by 33.79 percent (US$ 346.68 million). Cumulative imports from January to March 2016 reached US$ 1,926.29 million, down 32.75 percent from cumulative exports from January to March 2015 (US$ 2,864.26 million).
