Abstract

The Consumer Tendency Index value in Central Java in Quarter IV-2015 was 99.87, meaning that household economic conditions declined slightly compared to the previous quarter. The decline in household economic conditions was mainly caused by a decrease in the volume of consumption of goods and services with an index value of 97.41 and a decrease in the household income index (99.94). Meanwhile, the Index of the influence of inflation on consumption levels (101.67) slightly encouraged an increase in household economic conditions. The level of household optimism was lower than the previous quarter (the Consumer Tendency Index value was 109.81).
