Abstract

The fixed figure for rice production in 2014 in Central Java reached 9.65 million tons of Dry Milled Paddy, experiencing a production decline of -6.73 percent compared to 2013 with a production of 10.35 million tons of Dry Milled Paddy. The decline in production was influenced by the decline in harvest area which reached 44.54 thousand hectares. Forecast Figure I in 2015, the production figure is estimated at 10.60 million tons of Dry Milled Paddy, or experiencing an increase in production reaching 9.89 percent or 954.47 thousand tons of Dry Milled Paddy compared to 2014.
