Abstract

Preliminary figures ( ASEM ) rice production in Central Java Province 2014 estimated 9.65 million tons of dry unhusked rice ( paddy ) . This figure is lower than the figure Fixed ( ATAP ) in 2013 which amounted to 10.34 million tons, a decline in production by 6.73 percent . The decline in rice production affected a decrease in harvested area of 44.54 thousand hectares ( 2.41 percent ), which is supported by the lower number of rice crop productivity in 2014 compared to the year 2013 amounted to 4.43 percent .
