Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Central Java in August 2011 was recorded at 35.57 percent, a decrease of 6.66 points compared to the TPK in July which was 42.24 percent. When compared to the same period in August 2010, the TPK in August 2011 also decreased by 0.51 points. The highest TPK in August occurred in 5-star hotels at 52.49 percent and the lowest in 1-star hotels at 24.98 percent.
