Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate of starred hotels in Central Java in August 2010 was recorded at 36.98 percent, a decrease of 6.11 points compared to the Room Occupancy Rate in July of 43.08 percent. Compared to the same period in 2009, the Room Occupancy Rate in August 2010 also decreased by 0.92 points. The highest Room Occupancy Rate in August occurred in 4-star hotels at 47.93 percent and the lowest in 1-star hotels at 22.72 percent.
