Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Central Java in the period of October 2009 was recorded at 42.26 percent, an increase of 4.52 points compared to the TPK in September 2009 which was 37.74 percent, when compared to the same period in 2008, the TPK in October 2009 also increased by 2.58 points. The highest TPK in October occurred in 5-star hotels at 52.29 percent and the lowest in 1-star hotels at 28.19 percent.
