Abstract

In April 2009, Central Java experienced deflation of 0.11 percent with a consumer price index (CPI) of 112.53. Of the 4 SBH cities, 3 cities experienced deflation and 1 city experienced inflation. The highest deflation was in Purwokerto City at 0.22 percent with a CPI of 114.18 and the lowest in Surakarta City at 0.02 percent with a CPI of 109.27. While inflation occurred in Tegal City at 0.15 percent with a CPI of 113.74.
