Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Central Java in the period of October 2008 was recorded at 43.07 percent, an increase of 13.16 points compared to the TPK in September 2008, and also when compared to the same period in 2007, the TPK in October 2008 increased by 6.37 points. The highest TPK occurred in 5-star hotels at 55.40 percent and the lowest in 1-star hotels at 32.20 percent.
