Price Survey During Sadranan Season

Boyolali (2/18/2025) – The Boyolali Regency Central Statistics Agency records Rural Producer Prices (HD) and Rural Consumer Prices (HKD) every month. The HD respondents are farmers in several selected sub-districts. Meanwhile, the HKD respondents are traders in or outside the market in several selected sub-districts.

In February 2025, information was obtained that the prices of various types of vegetables in traditional markets in several sub-districts in Boyolali Regency such as Musuk, Cepogo, Selo, and Ampel had increased. This increase is strongly suspected to be caused by the increasing demand for vegetables ahead of the sadranan tradition, namely grave pilgrimages and kenduri which are commonly carried out by the Javanese people.
