SHP and SHPBG Workshop 2025

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Boyolali Regency has held a Workshop on the Survey of Producer Prices (SHP) and Rice Producer Prices at Mills (SHPBG) in 2025 on January 13-14, 2025. The event, which was attended by 12 enumerators and 8 supervisors, was in preparation for field data collection for SHP and SHPBG activities.

To monitor price developments at the producer level, BPS holds SHP activities every month, which include the Agriculture Sector (HPT), Mining, Excavation and Processing Industry Sector (HP), and the Services Sector (HPJ). This survey aims to obtain complete and continuous producer price data for calculating the Producer Price Index (IHP).

SHPBG is needed to record changes in rice price data from various qualities of rice at the milling level. The results of this survey are also an early indicator of the rise and fall of rice prices at the consumer level. So that it can provide anticipatory steps by interested parties regarding rice price transactions in order to maintain rice price stability.
