Destruction of Survey Documents BPS Boyolali Regency

Saturday, November 23, 2024, BPS Boyolali Regency destroyed used document archives. The destruction of these archives is the final stage in the series of archival management. Where previously based on the ANRI (National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia) Approval and also the Decree of the Head of the Central Statistics Agency Number 644 of 2024 concerning the Destruction of Used Questionnaire Archives of the Central Statistics Agency of Central Java Province, BPS Boyolali carried out the process of sorting documents that had been approved for destruction and made a Document Destruction Report.

The destruction of these archives aims to improve work efficiency and effectiveness, as well as protect archive information from unauthorized parties. There are many ways that can be done in the document destruction process from using third parties or burning it yourself. BPS Boyolali Regency in destroying documents this time chose to burn documents because the volume was small and could be done by itself.

The Document Destruction Activity by burning was led by the Head of the General Sub-Division, Mr. Fendy Ardyanto, SST, M.Si together with BMN staff and archive managers. The document burning activity was carried out next to the west building or the motorcycle parking area. The documents that were destroyed were survey documents from various activities from 2013 to 2019.
