Construction Defect Survey

The Central Statistics Agency carries out Construction Cost Survey activities every quarter with a total sample/respondent of 55 respondents. For the 2023/2024 period, it will be carried out in the third quarter and fourth quarter of 2023 as well as the first and second quarters of 2024, the last census period will be in June 2024. The census involves eleven enumerator partners (PCL) with a distribution of samples/respondents focused on location. in the district capital.

The aim of carrying out the Construction Cost Survey is to collect price data which is a component in calculating the Construction Cost Index (IKK). The components of the goods surveyed are: Natural Materials, Manufactured Materials, Equipment Rentals and Wages. The IKK will be used as a weight in determining the amount of the Regional Government's DAU (General Allocation Fund).

Respondents who were recorded were producers, namely makers/producers of construction materials, either manually or with the help of equipment/machines, Wholesalers, namely distribution business actors who sell various kinds of construction material goods in bulk and not at retail, Retail traders, namely people or business entities. those who buy and sell construction materials to households at retail, the Public Works Department or other SKPD, Heavy Equipment rental services and contractors/contractors.
