IBS Supervision and SEP 2024

BPS Boyolali Regency, in this case the Production Statistics Team, carried out supervision of IBS survey data collection as well as supervision of the Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) on Tuesday 4 June 2024.

This activity is in line with quality assurance efforts. The survey respondents in the Production Statistics Team were very diverse, from the rice fields, households to companies. To deal with these diverse respondents requires different strategies.

The first supervision activity is for industrial survey respondents. To be well received by the company, of course the officer who will be making the visit needs to make a visit appointment first. This visit was carried out to establish better cooperation with companies in various industrial surveys both monthly and annually. And an explanation of the new Commodity survey which BPS will begin to carry out starting in 2024.

Furthermore, supervision activities on ongoing SEP activities are to analyze the obstacles encountered by enumerators at the beginning of the data collection period.
