Preparation for EPSS 2023 Activities at the Diskominfo Hall, Boyolali Regency

In 2023, the Central Statistics Agency will hold an Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics (EPSS) with the target being Ministries/Institutions/Regional Governments. The series of activities for implementing EPSS 2023 consist of Self-Assessments, Document Assessments, Interview Assessments and/or Visitation Assessments, as well as Value Harmonization. In May-June 2023, an independent assessment will be held by the Boyolali District Government Internal Assessment Team (TPI). The activities assessed were 2 sectoral statistical activities from the Boyolali Regency Health Office and Environment Service as representatives of sectoral statistical activities in the Boyolali District Government. In the self-assessment, the Office concerned will collect supporting evidence and independently assess the application that has been prepared by the Central Bureau of Statistics.

On May 3, 2023, BPS Boyolali Regency was invited as a resource person to explain EPSS 2023 activities to the Diskominfo, BP3D, Health Service, and the Environment Service. The Ministry of Communication and Informatics as data wali in its role at One Data Indonesia (SDI) and BP3D as supporting wali data played an important role in this activity. Ana Afiqotul Azqiyah, who is one of the EPSS 2023 implementing teams at BPS Boyolali Regency, explained what domains, aspects and indicators will be assessed and the supporting evidence to support these activities to be uploaded by the Boyolali District Health Office and Environment Service and at a glance the applications that will be used. The final result of the EPSS 2023 activity is the Statistical Development Index (IPS) which will be submitted to central agencies, respective local governments and also submitted to the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas.
