CAPI Evaluation Meeting Long Form Population Census 2020 (LF SP2020) 2022

As a follow-up to the implementation of the CAPI LF SP2020 in the Evaluation stage, BPS Boyolali Regency held an evaluation of the CAPI Long Form SP2020 which was held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Front One Budget Hotel Boyolali (Halfday). Participants in the evaluation meeting were all Koseka and Kortim (organic and statistical partners). The evaluation period for the LF SP2020 at the Regency/City BPS will be on 11-22 July 2022.

The population census is a national priority activity carried out by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) based on the mandate of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics and guidelines with recommendations from the United Nations (UN). SP2020 activities generally aim to provide data on the number, composition, distribution, and characteristics of the Indonesian population towards the One Indonesian Population Data.

The series of SP2020 activities are divided into two stages, namely population data collection using a simple questionnaire in 2020 and then followed by data collection using a more detailed questionnaire through a sample census activity in 2022. The output stage in 2020 is the total population of Indonesia which is detailed in several variables. Meanwhile, data related to demographic parameters such as births, deaths, and migration as well as other important information to produce indicators for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the RPJMN in the population sector will be obtained through data collection from the sample census in 2022. This SP2020 sample census activity is hereinafter referred to as as a SP2020 long form data collection activity.
