Targeted, Structured, Accountable, and Organized Socialization for the Success of the Advanced SP202

The 2020 Population Census (SP2020) is entering a new phase. After going through the Online Population Census (SP Online) and September Population Census (SP September), BPS will then carry out the Advanced SP2020 (Long Form SP2020). This activity, which was delayed and halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, is finally ready to be carried out in May-June 2022. This Advanced SP2020 activity is important to be carried out to provide demographic parameters and other population characteristics for development planning and evaluation.

The Advanced SP2020 field data collection will involve the community directly, local Environmental Unit (SLS) administrators such as RT/RW, and census officers. The complexity of data collection and changes in business processes in the midst of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic situation are challenges that must be faced. The successful implementation of Advanced SP2020 is a shared responsibility.

To answer these challenges, a well-targeted, structured, and organized socialization was carried out to make the Advanced SP2020 event a series of SP2020 activities. This socialization is carried out so that the information received by the population is uniform and the Advanced SP2020 publicity carried out throughout the region shows the synergy of harmonious implementation.

The socialization conducted by BPS Boyolali Regency, was held at Loji Kridanggo Hotel MaxOne Boyolali on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Participants were attended by Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), Polres representatives, Danramil representatives, Camat representatives and also Village Head representatives. As resource persons, the Head of the Regional Research and Development Planning Agency (BP3D) of Boyolali Regency and Statistisi Muda were presented as the Head of the Social Team of BPS Boyolali Regency.
