In this regard, in order to build coordination and strengthen synergy between the Representative Offices of Bank Indonesia Solo and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) throughout Greater Solo, a meeting was held at the Adhiwangsa Hotel Solo on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. This discussion involved the Head of Representatives. Bank Indonesia Solo with the Head of the Central Statistics Agency for Solo Raya namely the Head of BPS Surakarta City, Head of BPS Boyolali Regency, Head of BPS Klaten Regency, Head of BPS Sukoharjo, Head of BPS Wonogiri, as well as BPS Karanganyar Regency and BPS Regency Sragen represented by the statisticians in charge.

The first discussion focuses on inflation figures released only by the City of Surakarta, groups that contribute to inflation and what factors cause inflation to differ from other regions. The second discussion relates to economic growth figures which can only be released once a year for the district and city levels. It is hoped that in the coming year starting with 2022, the City District BPS can display economic growth figures on a quarterly basis.
