Implementation of the UNDIP Statistics Student Internship

Entering the beginning of January to be precise on Monday, January 4, 2021, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Boyolali Regency received 3 (three) student internships or field work practice (PKL). The student comes from the Department of Statistics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University who is entering the 6th semester. The three students are Selvi Pangestu Emi, Nabila Fida Millati, and Haasya Wafdayanti.

This internship or street vendor activity takes place by implementing strict health protocols considering the spread of the corona virus which is still increasing every day. This activity begins with remarks and briefings by the Head of BPS Boyolali Regency, Drs. Sugita, M.M, accompanied by the Head of the General Subdivision. Then students were directed to take part in the morning apple at 08.00 followed by personal introductions to all office staff. This internship activity lasts for 1 month, starting from January 2, 2021 to February 1, 2021.

With the Undip Statistics student internship at BPS, it is hoped that they can gain practical experience in the world of work, develop their knowledge, learn to adapt to a new environment, train discipline and work ethic and of course add new insights about BPS.
