The Boyolali Regency Central
Statistics Agency (BPS) Office Meeting which was held on Thursday, 6 December
2019, was visited by the Commerce Statistics Service Section, BPS Statistics
Distribution Division in Central Java Province. The visit consisted of the Head
of the Commerce Services Section, Ade Sandi Parwoto, S.ST, MM and his staff,
Yayan Arum Wulandari, SE, in order to convey evaluation and monitoring as well
as sharing knowledge of tourism statistics activities.
In order to create an accurate
Indonesian Data One, including tourism data, improving the quality of the data
is very much needed. Tourism indicators that have been used as parameters of
economic development in an area such as the Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of
accommodation, the Occupancy Rate of Accommodation (TPTT) of accommodation,
Average Length of Stay (RLM) of accommodation, Number of Nusantara Tourists
both foreign and domestic, The number of tourist attraction objects, and so on,
results from various survey activities in the field of tourism statistics.
Tourism statistical activities that lead at the district level include VHTS
Survey (Monthly Accommodation Services Survey), VHTL Survey (Annual
Accommodation Services Survey), VIOT (Inbound-Outbound Tourist Survey), VREST
Survey (Restaurant Survey) and VDTW Survey (Power Object Survey) Tour
